Jeff Mesina

CO-FOUNDER

Jeff's passion for basketball began at just five years old, when he first picked up a basketball and instantly fell in love with the game. That early passion grew into a decorated High School playing career highlighted by numerous individual and team accomplishments across Vancouver’s competitive basketball scene.

During his 1996–1997 Junior season, as team captain, he helped lead the David Thompson Trojans to a 3rd Place finish at the Vancouver City Championships.

His standout 1997–1998 season was highlighted during the Churchill Bulldogs Tournament where he lead his team to the Championship and was named Tournament MVP.

That same season, he was also selected to the 1997–1998 Vancouver All-Star Team. He continued his success during his Senior year in 1998–1999 by earning 1st Team All-Star honours at the Gladstone Gladiators Tournament and was once again named to the Vancouver All-Star Team.

Today, Jeff brings that same passion, dedication, and love for the game to the sidelines at Summit Basketball.  Known for his leadership, mentorship, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court, he was recognized by South Delta Basketball as the 2024–2025 Coach of the Year.

Marc Trasolini

CO-FOUNDER

Marc grew up in Vancouver and fell in love with basketball from a young age. He played for Vancouver College where he led his team to the Grade 9 Provincial Championship and top 3 finishes from Grade 10-12. He earned numerous individual accolades, including being named the top player in BC and to the All-Canadian team as a senior. He was also a starter on the Provincial and Junior Canadian National teams at tournaments across the world, highlighted by a Bronze medal for Canada in the FIBA Americas in Argentina and a 7th place finish at the World Championships in New Zealand.

Marc earned an NCAA Division 1 scholarship to Santa Clara University where he was a four year starter and was named to the All-Freshman, All-Conference and Academic All-American teams, putting up strong numbers all four years. As a team captain, he led the Broncos to postseason championships in the CBI and CIT. He graduated with a finance degree with honours, and later completed his MBA.

After graduating in 2013, Marc signed his first pro basketball contract in Italy where he stayed for 3 seasons. He then signed in France for 1 season and finished with 5 seasons in Japan, where he was consistently among the league’s top scorers, including an All Star appearance. During his 9 year pro career, he also played globally with the Senior Canadian National team.

Since retiring in 2022, Marc transitioned into the commercial real estate industry and has stayed active within the basketball community and coaching various youth sports in South Delta. With his global experience and deep knowledge of basketball, Marc helps guide Peak in its mission to elevate the development of youth basketball in Delta and beyond. Marc enjoys working with kids to develop their skills and to inspire them to reach their highest potential as athletes and people.

Deep Dhillon

CO-FOUNDER

Deep is a lifelong resident of Delta with deep roots in the Ladner community, where he was born and raised before later living in Tsawwassen. Growing up in Delta, Deep developed a strong passion for basketball during the iconic 1990s era of the game, inspired by the competitiveness, discipline, and leadership the sport represented.

Basketball became much more than a game — it became a foundation for personal growth, leadership, and success in many aspects of life, including business and real estate. Through his experiences in sports, Deep learned the importance of hard work, accountability, teamwork, and resilience, values he now hopes to pass on to the next generation.

Having experienced success playing high school basketball at DSS, Deep understands firsthand the positive impact sports can have on youth development, confidence, and community connection. He strongly believes organized sports provide young athletes with opportunities to build character, leadership skills, discipline, and lifelong relationships both on and off the court.

Deep is excited to partner with Jeff and Marc to provide Delta youth with access to the elite-level basketball training, mentorship, and coaching opportunities that have often required athletes to leave their own community to experience. With strong ties to Ladner and a genuine passion for giving back, Deep is committed to helping local athletes develop their skills, reach their full potential, and grow into confident leaders who can make a positive impact within their communities.
